Product Review – Localfluence Instagram marketing tool is a pretty cheap way to bring more people in your door. They will post organic, realistic posts of your restaurant or your food. You pay Localfluence about 8 bucks or so per post. You also offer the influencer a pretty good deal, no chickenshit 10% offers allowed here. Most of the offers are $15 dining credit, 50% off, free entrees, stuff like that. The influencer comes in and shows the offer on their phone which is redeemable with one click and can’t be reused. You then honor the offer, it’s that easy.
They will take natural-looking pictures and post them to their personal Instagram page and tag your business. They also say very positive things about you and fill in all of their friends on your place and why they should all give you a visit. If they had a negative experience, they will bring it up with Localfluence and everyone can straighten it out without it ending up on Yelp. It’s a pretty cool service and for 8 bucks, it’s definitely worth the cash.
Facebook is a thing of the past
Ironically in this case, personal profiles still actually do have reach and exposure, unlike your business’s page. “Pages” are is censored down to about 1% of your fans actually being able to see your posts. Localfluence only works with Instagram, not Facebook. If you have an older demo, this may not be for you so keep that in mind. I’ve been testing this platform with a few of my clients right now. I’ll post an update when I have more info to share with everyone. On the surface, it looks like a no-brainer concept. We’ve all been in those meetings that mention “how do we get more people to share our restaurant with good looking, organic posts on social media?” Here’s your chance.
