Stop having a “fill in the gaps” mentality when it comes to marketing your week. It’s a LOT harder to build a Monday lunch if people know your place as a weekend nightlife spot. Don’t spend money and spin wheel on marketing strategies that will set you up for failure. If you are the weekend nightlife spot, focus on building your $10k Friday to a $20k Friday. Growing business with momentum behind you is a hell of a lot easier (and cheaper).
TIP: I CANNOT STRESS THIS POINT ENOUGH! I’ve seen so many bars throw away tons of money struggling to put together a new “theme” on an off night with no clientele. This is tough and incredibly expensive. Do the math, making a big night (Friday or Saturday night) even bigger is easy, starting from scratch to build a Tuesday is a waste of time in most cases. If you can build an off night for zero dollars, by all means give it a shot but do not dump money into this effort.
