When on vacation or in unfamiliar territory and looking for a place to grab a bite or a drink, Google is the #1 go-to for finding such a place.  Asking a local is way up there as another resource but often times they have motives (a friend that owns a restaurant even though the food isn’t all that good) or their recommendations are sketchy.  Google, along with it’s star ratings, doesn’t lie.  The most common searches are things like “restaurants near me” (assuming the GPS is active on the phone at the time) and “restaurants in _______ “(insert city).  Being in the top of these results if you have a hard to find location in a tourist economy could literally be the difference between thriving and closing your doors.
